The drive from Amritsar to Katra takes around 8–9 hours, passing throughthe scenic routes of Punjab and Jammu. Upon reaching Katra, check into your hotel and relax. The evening is free for exploring the local market or preparing for the next day’s Vaishno Devi trek.

Early morning, start your trek to the Vaishno Devi Shrine. The trek is about 13 km from the base camp at Katra, and you may also opt for ponies, palki, or battery cars if required. Seek blessings at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Bhairon Temple, and other sacred spots along the way. After the darshan, return to Katra in the evening and rest at your hotel. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and start your return trip to Amritsar.
